Savannah’s Days of Peace Initiative: Peace in the Park

Venue: Daffin Park
Date: October 1st 12 – 4pm EDT

The Savannah Day of Peace will feature a Peace Parade led by Savannah Mayor Van Johnson and Savannah City Council members, Courageous Conversation Circles designed to encourage deeper dialogue to promote peacebuilding, a wellness area for mental health and a Youth Artists Corner. The 2023 Peacebuilder Award Honoree will also be announced, and the City of Savannah’s Peace Proclamation will be on display.


Tybee Island Pirate Fest

Venue: Tybee Island, Georgia
Date: Oct. 5-8 2023

Buccaneer Ball at The Crab Shack

Buccaneer Ball is October 5th from 6Pm – 10PM. This kicks off Tybee Island Pirate Fest 2023 and is held at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island.

Luke Bryan: Country On Tour

Venue: Enmarket Arena
Date: October 6th,  2023

Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan announced his 2023 touring plans today with the launch of the 36-city “Country On Tour”. Produced by Live Nation, special guests throughout the tour include many of country music’s up and coming artists- Chayce Beckham, Tyler Braden, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, Jon Langston, Conner Smith, Alana Springsteen, Hailey Whitters, and DJ Rock.


Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras from Vanderpump Rules

Venue: Victory North Savannah
Date: October 10 · 9pm EDT

Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras is the latest musical passion project of actor, model, and restaurateur, Tom Sandoval. For 10 seasons, Tom has starred on the hit Bravo reality series, Vanderpump Rules. There is nothing Tom does on a small scale, and this band is no different. Tom has gathered an eclectic group of fun, sing-a-long cover songs that you can’t help but dance to.


Living History: Yellow Fever in Savannah 1820

Venue: 323 E. Broughton  Street Savannah
Date: Fridays and Saturdays for the month of October

Special program at the Davenport House Museum recreating life during the Yellow Fever epidemic of the 1820s.


The Thorn

Oktoberfest at Plant Riverside District

Venue: Plant Riverside District

Plant Riverside District is delighted to present the third annual Oktoberfest celebration, which will offer a lively blend of old and new German traditions from Wednesday, October 4 through Saturday, October 28, including the return of the popular Savannah Wiener Dog Races. All family-friendly festivities will take place at Plant Riverside District, located on Savannah’s historic riverfront at 400 W. River St.

Compass Pool End of Summer Pool Party. Plant Riverside District will host a high-energy rooftop pool party at Compass Pool Lounge, located atop the Atlantic Building at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. This one-day-only event offers the rare opportunity for the public to enjoy a lively rooftop celebration at Plant Riverside District’s stunning private pool, which is typically reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

GA-20 Concert

Venue: The Wormhole Neighborhood Pub & Music Venue

Date: October 19 · 8:30pm EDT

GA-20 clearly is on to something big. It’s a movement, a new traditional blues revival. The dynamic, throwback blues trio are disciples of the place where traditional blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll intersect. “We make records that we would want to listen to,” says guitarist Matt Stubbs. “It’s our take on the song-based traditional electric blues we love.” Stubbs, guitarist/vocalist Pat Faherty, and drummer Tim Carman have been at the forefront of this traditional blues revival since they first formed in 2018.

The Head and The Heart

$1 per ticket goes to The Rivers and Roads Foundation, which was started by The Head And The Heart as a way to give back to their hometown of Seattle, WA. The goal of this foundation is to raise money for local Seattle-based music programs and initiatives with an emphasis on equitable access to music education for youth, and mental health resources and support for musicians.


Crafts on the River

Venue: Rousakis Riverfront Plaza Savannah, GA 31401

Crafts on the River brings original art and handmade items right to River Street with 50+ artists and crafters. Shop woodcrafts, local photography, original art, candles, soap, specialty foods, jewelry, apparel, and MUCH MORE! Our events benefit Inheritance of Hope, a group that serves young families facing the loss of a parent.
