America’s Best Idea – the national parks – is even better when it’s free! Several days throughout the year have been designated as fee free days at your national parks including Fort Pulaski National Monument. On these days entrance fees will not be charged.

Wormsloe Turkey Trot Scavenger Hunt

Nov 25th 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Wormsloe State Historic Site – 7601 Skidaway Rd.

 Come out on Black Friday for our Turkey Trot Scavenger Hunt! At your own pace, come tackle the 3-mile Battery Trail. Check in at the Visitor Center for a trail map and clues to what you’ll be looking for along the way. Return to the museum after completing the hike for a prize (while supplies last).

Admission: $2 – $10

21st Annual Savannah Boat Parade Of Lights

Join us… One and ALL… Saturday, November 26th, 2022 for the Annual FREE Savannah Boat Parade of Lights. This 20-year tradition has been enjoyed by generations of locals and visitors alike. The Savannah Boat Parade of Lights, headed by the Savannah Harbor Foundation, has also greatly benefited the charities it has contributed to! This year we are partnering with Greenbriar Children’s Center, an amazing group that has been helping children in need in Savannah since 1943! We will be donating proceeds raised by the parade to the Center this year… A very special treat… The Greenbriar children will be designing our parade t-shirts!
