If you are new to Savannah, we have events you won’t want to miss! We are here to share everything St. Patrick’s Day themed from 5K’s to Bar Crawls, to the world famous Parade! March of Dimes
When: March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Ellis Square
Kick off the St. Patrick’s Day festivities in Savannah by joining us for the 28th annual March of Dimes Shamrock Run 5K! The Shamrock Run is fun for all ages and includes a Kids Run prior to the start of the 5K. Costumes are encouraged and four-legged (canine) friends are always welcome! Music, entertainment, and gift cards -prize costume contest, and adult beverages round out the festivities.
Starting at 4:00pm, festivities for the Shamrock Run will begin! Join us for festivities including live performances, kids activities and the VIP Event at B&D Burgers!
Proceeds from the Shamrock Run benefit the mission of March of Dimes to improve the health of babies and moms. March of Dimes carries out its mission through programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy.
Georgia Beer Day Sour Fest
When: March 4th at 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We’ve got another new one for ya! We’ll be celebrating 2023 Georgia Beer Day the only way we know how by throwing our first-ever Sour Fest on Saturday, March 4th. We’ll have our usual block party hang on De Soto Ave with the below deets planned so far. We’ll be posting more updates soon, you’re not gonna want to miss this!
Chilli Cook-Off

Think you got the best Chilli/Chili in the Savannah area? Enter our Chilli Cook off to put your bowel to the test! Registration closes March 3rd. Bring prepared Chilli to the event on March 5th at 10am. Awards will be given for people’s choice, judges choice and Spirit! Criteria and rules will be posted in discussion on this event! Free Entry, $5 to come taste all the Chilli! Individuals, Organizations and Businesses are welcome to enter!
Oyster Roast At The Peregrin Rooftop

American Pop!
When: March 7th at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: District Live at Plant Riverside District
American Pop takes place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Featuring ATC Bronze Medalist, SCAD and American Idol alumni, George Lovett, and Pop/Rock rising superstar, Hannah Zazzaro, this concert will celebrate all things that exemplify American pop music. Tickets are $25 and the show will start at 7pm. District Live at Plant Riverside District, 400 W. River Street.
2023 Georgia Logistics Summit

St. Patrick’s Day Rugby Tournament
When: March 11th-12th at 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join the Savannah Shamrocks Rugby Club for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Rugby Tournament in Savannah, Georgia. The tournament continues to be one of the largest rugby tournaments in the country with 80 teams in attendance. A portion of the proceeds from the event go to local charities each year.
