Mark Magic

When: June 10, 2023

Where: Tybee Post Theatre

Mark’s newest show, Foresight 2.0, is simply AMAZING! YOU WILL LAUGH…..YOU WILL INTERACT….YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY!!!!

It combines comedy, mind reading, and interactive illusions and is performed on stage by just Mark…meaning there are no dancing ladies or big box tricks. The show is for mature audiences only (ages 16 and above). This is an interactive show featuring many effects that have never been seen before. The audience dictates the direction of the show (like a book with multiple endings).

Crowd participation will be very key as attendees will have their minds read and some may even come under hypnosis. It’s those interactions and more that will introduce unpredictability into the performance and could throw The Magic Man’s vision of a perfect show off the rails.

Mark will also be using a popular card game’s cards instead of a regular deck of playing cards to make the show absolutely hilarious.

“It’s a totally interactive show where it’s going to be my mind against the minds of those in the audience,” Mark said.

“Foresight” is a 21st century show. Audience members will be instructed to use their phones, participate in a social media post, and even take pics of things happening on stage. Some personal touches will be added throughout the show as Mark will share stories from his childhood. He’ll scale up one of his well-known tricks and play with peoples’ senses as he looks to blow the minds of everyone in attendance.

PREMIUM Ticket includes: a meet and greet after the show and a free take home magic trick.

VIP chair/table ticket includes a complimentary bottle of champagne, a meet and greet after the show, and a free take home magic trick.

The event’s Gullah Geechee heritage theme will be celebrated in the afternoon’s featured performance by the McIntosh County Shouters at 2:30 pm.

The McIntosh County Shouters are renowned performing artists of the authentic ring shout, North America’s oldest living African American musical tradition. The ring shout was part of the Gullah-Geechee culture formed by enslaved people brought from West Africa to the coastal regions of Georgia, South Carolina, and North Florida. The McIntosh County Shouters have performed at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Savannah Music Festival. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this enduring tradition.

Juneteenth programs are free to local residents of Chatham, Bryan, Effingham, Liberty, Bulloch and Beaufort Counties, thanks to investment from the City of Savannah, the Georgia Council for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
